How to keep your La Miséto mirror shiny and beautiful
We do our best to make sure our mirrors arrive nice & shiny at your home – and we’d love to tell you how to keep them that way. Our mirrors are made of laser-cut acrylic and wood, finished with a UV print. This makes them colourful and special, but also a little more delicate.
Acrylic and wood are two durable materials, but they are not indestructible, so it’s important to handle them with care.
Avoid moisture
Make sure your mirror doesn’t get wet. The back is made of wood and is not suitable for damp environments, as wood can warp. So unfortunately, the bathroom is not the right place for your mirror.
Cleaning
We offer a special cleaning set that helps you keep your mirrors nice & shiny. The solution also adds a thin protective layer that helps prevent scratches.
Of course, you can also do it without this set! All you need is a dry, soft microfibre cloth to gently remove dust and fingerprints.
Do not use: water, glass cleaner, alcohol, cleaning products or (baby) wipes – these can damage the UV print or the acrylic.
Do not: rub hard or apply pressure – this may cause scratches.
👉 Extra tip
Got a little speck of dust or lint? A duster or a can of dry air (like for cameras) works great too.
❌ So do NOT use glass cleaner or similar products – this will cause permanent damage.
