Wearable Wall Art is small, reflective art with a dual purpose. You can hang the design as a colorful art object on your wall or wear it on your clothing using a magnetic attachment.

This way, a unique design doesn’t have to stay in just one place. Today it’s part of your gallery wall, tomorrow you wear it as a striking accessory on your jacket, blazer, or sweater. That is the idea behind Hang it. Wear it.

What exactly is Wearable Wall Art?

Wearable Wall Art – WWA for short – consists of small graphic objects made of reflective acrylic. Each design is carefully mounted on a wooden base and features a strong magnet on the back.

Using the included metal wall plate, you can mount the design as a small piece of wall decor. Want to wear the artwork? Simply use the separately available Magnetic Brooch Cover on the inside of your clothing.

WWA thus sits exactly between art, wall decor, and accessory. It is neither a traditional brooch nor an ordinary wall mirror: the design can constantly change function and location.

How do you hang Wearable Wall Art on the wall?

1. Choose a suitable, clean, and dry spot on the wall.
2. Clean the spot with the included alcohol wipe and let the surface dry completely.
3. Remove the protective layer from the adhesive wall plate.
4. Press the plate firmly against the surface.
5. Attach the WWA piece to the metal plate using the magnet.

How do you wear Wearable Wall Art?

1. Choose a spot where the design is clearly visible.
2. Place the Magnetic Brooch Cover on the inside of your clothing.
3. Hold the WWA piece on the outside, aligned with the cover.
4. Let the magnets gently pull toward each other and check that the design is secure.

A blazer, jacket, thick sweater, or sturdy cardigan usually provides the best support. On very thin or supple fabrics, a larger design might sag slightly due to its weight.

You can use one Magnetic Brooch Cover for different WWA pieces. You don't need to order a new cover for every design.

What do you get with a WWA piece?

With every Wearable Wall Art design, you receive everything you need to mount it on the wall:

• the Wearable Wall Art piece;
• a metal wall plate with adhesive back;
• an alcohol wipe to clean the surface;
• an instruction card.

Not included: the Magnetic Brooch Cover with which you wear the design on clothing. This is ordered separately and can subsequently be used with multiple WWA pieces.

What is Wearable Wall Art made of?

The designs are made from reflective acrylic, sometimes combined with a colorful UV print. The acrylic is carefully attached to a wooden base with a strong disc magnet on the back.

Most WWA pieces are approximately 6 mm thick. Exact dimensions vary per design and are listed on every product page. All designs are conceived and made in the Netherlands.

How do you use Wearable Wall Art in your interior?

Due to its small size, WWA is suitable for spots where a large wall decoration would quickly become overwhelming. Hang one design in a small empty corner or combine several pieces as a playful mini-gallery wall.

You can also combine WWA with prints, cards, photos, and small mirrors. Repeat colors or shapes to turn different objects into a cohesive whole.
